Our resident carver, Tony Alberto, has dedicated twenty-nine years to his craft. And at this point, it’s fair to say that he’s nearly perfected it. His work, at times, literally leaps of the walls, with carvings so detailed, and so very intricate, they can seem lifelike. Specifically, his depiction of “The Last Supper,” carved in birch, is an absolute marvel. It must be seen to be believed.
In addition to wood, Mr. Alberto also carves other mediums like fruits, vegetables, and ice. He has worked as the head kitchen artist for Manila Hilton International, Sheraton Hotel in Dubai, and the Atlanta Hilton. He has been featured in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, on CNN, in the Hilton Pride magazine, and in Atlanta Style & Design Magazine. Mr. Alberto has won many awards, as well, including “Chef on Parade”, “Atlanta Culinary Salon”, and the “Hotel Olympics”. He is the proud owner of “A House of Creations” where he services weddings, parties, anniversaries, and special holidays.
