Her earliest childhood memories are of drawing along side   her father at the dining room table .  At that time the drawings were of running bulls and matadors which were her father’s favorite subjects.  Those days are long past but the pleasure and contentment she felt then still permeates her artwork.  Today, she still prefers animals and people in motion to still life or landscapes.
She  has studied drawing , painting and sculpture throughout what can only be described as a “spotty” art education. As a high school student, she participated in Saturday life drawing sessions at Art Center in Los Angeles, California. She then moved on to college and began as an Art major ; only to graduate in history with a minor in art.  Her final session of formal art classes came two years later.
